#86-Controlling your perception
Listen now
Description
Our perception of any given situation is determined by four main factors: the filter through which we see it, how we frame it, how we evaluate it, and how we respond to it. The filter is our individual lens on the world, shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and values. Our frame is how we choose to see the situation, whether we focus on the negative or the positive. Our evaluation is based on our judgment of what is happening, and our response is how we choose to act in the situation. By understanding these four factors, we can begin to control our perception of any given situation. Doing so allows us to see things more clearly and respond more effectively. As a result, we can find greater success and satisfaction in both our personal and professional lives, and also feel more confident moving forward!
