Like The Expanse, but less original
If you’ve seen The Expanse on Amazon Prime, you’ll understand what I mean. Aliens reaching across the Galaxy, not sure if they are good or bad, dodgy Governments, etc. In truth, I felt this series had a good idea but rather messed it up with silly baddie accents, and painful intro voices, over loud action music, and limited depth of characters. It’s like someone’s rather hackneyed first go at radio theatre. Sorry but The Expanse does this so much better, especially with added political storyline. All that said, I listened all the way through, simply because I wanted to hear the inevitable reunion. And there it was of course. Lockdown listening only.
