Description
Halil Mehmet has very diverse creative interests, ranging from
traditional pencil sketching, vector design work, composite imaging,
video production, 3D modelling and animation. Halil’s interest in
digital art began during high school in 1999 when he was first
introduced to photo editing software.
His interest in gaming and films lead him to enrol in the Bachelor of
Digital Media degree at COFA, introducing him to 3D modelling and
animation, in which he found a rewarding challenge, and pursued building
his skills and knowledge.
Halil’s most recent work "Time Stands Still (2007)" showcases his
ability in character animation, lighting, and rendering techniques and
narrative. His previous work was a collaborative effort with peers Tom
Davis and Matt Moore. Together they produced the short 3D animation
"Plastick Explosives (2006)".
The future that awaits Halil is promising as he strives to refine his
talents and pursue a position in a 3D animation studio that specialises
in film and video game cinematics.
