“This podcast is really easy to follow, they always teach useful phrases and vocabulary. Although there are a lot of set phrases you can learn by heart, they show you a way of actually using your limited vocabulary and grammar to build various sentenced yourself. You have enough time to repeat the phrases out loud before the dialogue resumes. As a beginner in mandarin this helped me a lot! Especially with the pronunciation Crystal is quite strict (which is absolutely necessary) and often repeats the correct tones multiple times if needed.”
