it's the gospel?
Just concluding the first series and the access to Matt, Aaron and Carin makes for fascinating listening and continuos reassesment of what our hosts think, what the band may have thought - then and now - and what the audience make of it. The open ambiguity in lyrics, with frequent contratsting sounds has captivated me. Keen to see what albums are tackled next or how the hosts might interact with other members of the band and supporting cast members to take us further into the magical world of the National, congratulations!

Really enjoyed this podcast for the new perspectives from most band and allied members. The endless posturing and pondering from the hosts jars with direct reference to lyrical content from the band and is pretty grating to listen to. Some really great content from the band interviews, but these limey dullards are unlistenable. Skipping ahead 30 seconds every time the hosts speak is the only way.
