“I’ve only listened to the intro, after stumbling across this from Matt’s Instagram. However I do not need to hear more to know that this podcast will be one of the most important things I listen to this year.
To hear other people describe the band and their music (we share the same beginnings with Boxer being our introduction) so beautifully inspires me greatly. For over a decade I have adored this band with every ounce of my being with few to share the adulation. And at once when I hear you both describe these feelings that the National conjure for you, this podcast seems of course so logical and obvious. Why hadn’t I thought of this? Why hasn’t someone, anyone considered a tribute to such a wonderful band.
You mention the Nationals back catalogue as a ‘feast’... But right now lads, your podcast is for dinner and I for one can not wait to begin. Fantastic. Thank you.”
