Politics are accessible/important too!
I was so close to giving this podcast 5 stars but they really lost me in the last episode with their reasoning on why they have avoided talking about the politics of this album. If you don’t think politics are as important as romance and being broke (trust me, not everyone can relate to these things in the way that not everyone can relate to a political view) then there’s something you’re missing about what impacts on people. Overall, an insightful series on how the album is made, and an exploration of the lyrics that will just make me enjoy listening to this album even more in future. Just a shame about that last episode.

I really enjoyed this podcast listening to others who love the National as much as I do. I’m sad that it is over but look forward to more in the future.
