The Hearthstone friends you wish you had!
Every week, the Coin Concede hosts bring their passion, perspectives and puns to a robust discussion of the happenings in Hearthstone. With shiny new content, sizzling news and wacky strategies constantly evolving in the game, I find I’m always learning something from Ridiculous Hat, Edelweiss and Botticus. They’re a trio of friends and distinguished players who share expert-level guidance, which may inspire improvements in your own gameplay. Don’t worry about your rank, whether you’re burly bronze or lucky legendary, all listeners are made welcome and you never get talked down to. Coin Concede has all the excitement and fandom you’d expect from people who make a Hearthstone podcast – this is nerdy in all the best ways. But I’ve also appreciated how they’ve approached what can often become polarising topics online, with a sense of groundedness and humility. There’s good criticism here, as you’d expect, but also room for nuanced takes. The wisdom they’ve shared on keeping a healthy relationship with the game and cultivating a good mindset is particularly inspiring. Spoiler: some of this good Hearthstone advice might be also good life advice. Coin into Mountain Giant might forever be out of reach, but you’re always welcome to Coin Concede.

Good mix of casual and competitive Hearthstone goodness. Cinder is my fave as he seems most into the game (remembers card names). Cora is amazing when she's on. Andres and Kenny have great attitudes. Definitely worth a spot in your Hearthstone podcast listening rotation.Read full review »
