“The hosts’ voices all sound similar but, for some reason, that Brook’s voice grates. Her seemingly self importance, injecting her hopes, fears, and know-it-all “experiences” makes it all the more annoying. Nearly every time I hear “I’m Brook”, I skip.
I think the reason the original was so successful was Bill Cutis’ soothing voice. Paula does a great job, the others, excepting Brook, do a decent job.”
