“I used to quite enjoy this podcast but this year, it seems to have gone dramatically downhill. I’m sure Brooke Gittings is a very capable & bright narrator but she speak SO fast, it’s a real effort to 1) keep up with her & 2) understand her mildly drawled words. Her speech is so clipped! Why do so many podcasters have such unsuitable speaking voices? Add to that the huge overkill on multiple ads (I counted SIX in one cast yesterday!) & I can no longer listen to it! I’m out!”
