“I’ve listened to this show since the beginning - I’ve seen the ups and downs of the pod and here is my two cents -
Brandon Walker is an incredible talent who knows his stuff and always provides insightful opinionated commentary on the CFB landscape. As much as Katie P and Kayce hate when he says it - he truly is the heart and soul of the pod. Without him, I don’t think this show survives. He is one of the best hires Dave has ever made in content.
Kayce is great for the show and she shows a point of view that isn’t always represented in big network coverage. The dating talk and stuff can get a little annoying when you just wanna listen to a CFB pod but it provides a break in the monotony that is podcasting so it’s cool. She loves her team and I think that’s great. So I don’t get the griping about her only talking about A&M.
Jack is a stud! He provides a great voice for non top 25 fans and he really captures what a lot of fans of non P-5 teams think about CFB. He’s started to talk a lot more during the show which adds a fun dynamic to the show for sure. The monotone disposition can sometimes get annoying and sound disinterested, but it’s just who he is.
Katie P the newest addition to the show drives me crazy. She comes off as super condescending and very entitled. I know she provides the much needed statistical information for the show. But all of the stats are googled and she doesn’t provide much substance to the show. Additionally her podcasting skills of reading the room or anticipation of when to speak/ when not to speak is terrible. She constantly sounds like she is stumbling/slurring into a take and it’s tough to listen to.”
