“I’ve been a long time subscriber and listener to the show, but the recent episode left such a bad taste in my mouth. I thought Matt and Janell did a fantastic job in his absence for a couple weeks. To Kofi’s credit he did give them a thanks in his stead, but it’s usually way overshadowed by the amount he put them down in some weak attempts to make jokes. You can have an opinion on not liking certain episodes or shows, but it seems almost impossible for him to let go of his ego and let anybody else have an opinion that doesn’t align with his. In this recent episode, there was a big argument, and instead of trying to consider his cohost opinions, he dug his heels in. It was painful to listen to. There has been a lot of great episodes, but there are plenty of other great podcasts or “shows that do it all for geek culture,” despite the claim he makes at the beginning of each episodes.”
