“I absolutely love pop culture and believe it to be both wildly entertaining and an incredible litmus test for ever changing cultural norms. So I love the drama and am not a hater of celeb content in the slightest. That being said, this podcast has either gotten more one-dimensional, or just hasn’t adapted to the times while the world around it has. The hosts consistently miss opportunities to have thoughtful discussions around race, feminism, body image, overconsumption, etc., all of which are massively influential to and influenced by, pop culture. I love the kardashians, and would also enjoy a nuanced conversation around how empowering they are while also acknowledging their complicated intersection with the aforementioned topics. Anything but the hosts droning on and on about the vapid topics without so much as a whisper of critical thought. There are more inclusive celeb news podcasts out there that are still incredibly funny and thoughtful. Try L is for Losers if you enjoy celebs, comedy, and accountability!
Also, anti Zionism does not equate to antisemitism, and oppression of Jewish people cannot be undone by turning around and oppressing Palestinians. Super disappointed in y’all. Time to say goodbye to this pod :/

CBC is hands down one of my absolute favorite podcasts! Emma and Julie are so fun to listen to and I really really love their nonjudgmental way of delivering celeb news and gossip. They’re super supportive and kind hearted, and as a woman in her early 20s who loves her recreational ~chill time~, I find them incredibly relatable and hilarious. Y’all are great, keep it up :)”
