Subtle sexism
I agreed with a few reviewers that this show is subtle sexist from the way the host tells the stories. The first episode, where the host told a story of a couple who had dated for 6-7 years but didn’t get engaged felt like “eternality, especially for women” I really don’t think the comment “especially for women” is necessary or sensible. Yes, maybe the girlfriend in the story wanted to get married and there was nothing wrong with that. But the host doesn’t have to make comments like that insinuating all women want to nudge men towards the alter.

More reviews of Committed
I struggle to imagine a less interesting topic for a podcast. This show is constantly advertised on interesting podcasts, and I’ve gotten to the point where I simply can’t stand to hear the stupid pitch. Please stop.

In a time when 50% of marriages end in divorce, this podcast is such a God send, thank you!
