Dan has help set my political compass
I first started listening to Common Sense around episode 87. Or was it 78? That would’ve been sometime in the mid to late 2000s. I of course came across Dan like many other followers, through Hardcore History, then eventually found myself listening to Common Sense. Sometimes months or even years would go by before I would pick back up to listen to his latest show. Now that Dan has been releasing CS shows less than 1x every 6 months, I found myself flipping back and listening to old shows. He often talks to listeners that might be listening to the recording in the current time when the show was released or further down the road into distant or not so distant the future…. Well here I am, in the future listening to some of these older shows for the first time or 2nd or 3rd time and I’m finding his words have deeper meaning now than they have had when the episode first aired.
