“Dan Carlin was once a hero of mine. He’d wail against the surveillance state, warn and worry about the growing corruption in government, and try to devise some kind of solution. Then Trump got elected and, while some commentators got deranged, Dan simply went silent.
Sure, the occasional show would crop up. But as of 2024, during a time where the Federal Government has become increasingly pervasive, invasive, and sinister, Mr. Carlin seems oddly reluctant to talk about the obvious—the State’s become dangerous, and positive change is coming too slowly, too late.
The ‘why’ behind the man’s absence is likely due to several issues. But ultimately, it’s hard for any man to remain bi-partisan in such a disintegrating climate. No matter what he says—that Trump’s a narcissist or Biden’s a puppet—he’s in for a pile of hate. So he stays quiet. At the cost of everything he once supposedly held dear.
And if that’s the case—that Dan would ignore the commercial web of deceit that weaves its seams from sea to sea—maybe it’s best he’s left the stage. Because we need a Steward of Truth. Of Vision. And not a coward.
And certainly not a sympathizer for the Marxist hivemind seeking to undermine the very fabric of American life.”
