I consider it a fair view on our current political affairs
Most of the reviews that are one star are just vapid counters to what reality is. I don’t agree with everything Dan says, but that doesn’t mean I don’t listen and understand. Our world politically is so polarizing at the moment that if you step a fraction either way you’re considered the “enemy.” And sometimes honest words hurt to hear because that means either you’re wrong or the idea is wrong and you don’t want either of those to be the options. I think, overall, Dan gives his honest (emphasis on HIS) opinion on what is going on. And I don’t think you should take every word of his as the literal truth either. But that doesn’t mean what he is saying isn’t honest. And with honesty comes some truths too. It’s easier to blame and point fingers, but I can respect a view that states things as they are and instead of stoking the fire tries to have some semblance of civil conversation in a time where politically it’s hard to without making some divide in families and friendships.

More reviews of Common Sense with Dan Carlin
Not only does he have a great radio voice, he actually makes sense. I like how he brings the listener into his thought processes. He's not force-feeding you his opinion, he sounds like he's making up his own mind as he goes, with excellent commentary and background explanations.Read full review »
