“The different way the two approach the subject is just the perfect balance of serious - almost obsessive compulsive – detail, and the human emotional reaction. Ian and David’s relationship is obviously a close one, almost of brothers. The banter between them is sometimes reminiscent of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore (or, dare I say it, Basil Fawlty and Manuel)
