Peter Head is a Musician, Amateur Radio Operator and an expert on APRS or Automatic Packet Reporting System for Amateur Radio. Peter shares some of the many things APRS can do including GPS location and tracking, text messaging and even satellite communications as well as talking to the International Space Station. Peter even shares an interesting story about how he and some other hams were able to send a message via APRS from one end of the Appalachian trail to the other referred to as the "Golden Packet".
