““Are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin...” This is how every episode of “Listen with Mother” began when aired on the BBC. It was a warm and familiar invitation that welcomed every listener. It made them comfortable and engaged, ready to enjoy another story.
Conan and team have managed a similar feat. They have created an audible context of hospitality on their show, not only for the interviewee but those listening. The pleasant music throughout the podcast is relaxing and disarming. The humor, transparency, and positivity of Conan and team is rare and memorable. They have created a podcast that is worth your time, and one that I will be returning to every installment with anticipation.
