“I wasn’t part of a miss shooting but Columbine happen the same year that I was a Junior in High School.. the amount of fear and anxiety I felt was real the remainder of my high school experience. I remember when the Asst Principal from the High School in Pearl Ms came to our school my senior year I felt safe bc I felt like he lived through a shooting. He would know how to help us prevent this from happening. I see now that was naive but it was powerful to my teen brain… listening to how these survivors have over come their trauma is inspiring and they should be proud of their journey! Powerful and riveting is all I can say! The Healing I can hear in this podcast is Cathartic for me! Thank you!”
