You start your conversation referring to Cecil as a Tanzanian lion, he was in fact Zimbabwean, murdered during an illegal hunt.
It’s really important to get your facts correct when discussing things like this. I was all keen to listen to your podcast, but the first sentence is misleading in the most egregious way , this has detrimental consequences for all sorts of reasons.
I am from Zimbabwe and had the pleasure of filming Cecil and Jericho over many years for different documentaries. He was born and died in Hwange National Park.
When I have the time to listen to the rest, I will hopefully find factual and compelling arguments about the issue’s surrounding his untimely and quite frankly inhumane death.”
