“These guy are spot on. I’ve been a carpenter for 37 years. I got a Associate Degree in Constrution in 1982 then went through my 4 year apprenticeship so I like to say I’ve got a masters in construction. I was fortunate enough to have worked with an “Old Crusty Carpenter” (Pete) during my apprenticeship who taught me the right way and cutting corners only cost dollars. Been in business 30 years and built it up to 50 union carpenter and 30 laborers in 2008!!! You know that story!!!!
With all that said no one taught me the in’s & outs of business.
The E Myth on Contractors was it. It help me a lot but these young men are differently teaching this old dog new tricks.
Now I’m the “Old Crusty Carpenter”, being a 60 year old carpenter in 2019 with my tool belt on, running sub’s, day to day with customers for a 2 person company (my 30 year old Daughter is running design, contracts and clients) this podcast is truly helping me and I’m passing it on to my daughter.
Guys keep up the good work.
