Visions have a better chance of coming true if they are in fact connected to the outer world; if the make-up of visions have something in common with the make-up of the physical world.  Almost 100 years scientists discovered, through theory and experiment, that the outer, physical world, consists not of things but of waves and energy packets.  These things that we thought made up an independent world in fact don't exist (https://www.scientificamerican.com/media/pdf/197911_0158.pdf), and thus neither does the independent world.  This means that indeed, when we have a vision we are not in fact pounding our heads against a wall, but instead entering data of some kind into the story line for the physical world. In different words, we write the story of our lives and the future of the world.  The problem, however, is that the deep truth of quantum theory has still not penetrated the mindscape of the modern world.
