Out of sync with reality
Cowen has access to a remarkable set of influential people who accept to speak with him DESPITE his obnoxiousness and his outdated dogmatic views. That’s why he gets 2 stars and not zero. I find two major flaws in his podcast, one stylistic and one more substantial. The stylistic one is his tone. He is despondent, stubborn, arrogant and often times flat out obnoxious. The substantial issue is that his libertarian credo is completely out of sync with the broad societal damage caused by it in the past 40 years. He’s wilfully blind to the tragic consequences of this free-for-all individualism he advocates for and cannot see beyond his doctrinal lens.

Highly recommended....Read full review »
