A great way to refresh your WOT memories
These two are honestly great and although I wasn’t sure at first, I can say now (several episodes in) that I’m definitely hooked. Their self-proclaimed book club meets read-through meets reaction video is a pretty great way to get yourself reacquainted with the Wheel of Time saga. I read up to book 10 about 12 years ago and couldn’t get any further, and have been experiencing guilt about not finishing the series. Now all these years later I’ve almost forgotten who’s who and what’s what. Listening to these two is like a breath of fresh air and simultaneously being reunited with good memories. One is a seasoned WOT veteran, the other is experiencing this series for the first time. This is a great combo and I enjoy hearing what they think about each character and what will happen next. Sometimes they ramble, sometimes they obsess over the food and meals, sometimes they don’t have all their LOTR references correct (“They’re called NAZGUL, NAZGUL!” I yelled in my car one time.) but man are they funny and their tangents are still enjoyable. I find their mistakes endearing, and their struggles pronouncing all these crazy names and words heroic. Mad props to them. If you’re like me and you felt stuck on the series, or you want to refresh before the TV show comes out, give this podcast a listen.

But I really like the way these two do the podcast and book review in a way that makes it fun. They use real life pop culture references randomly which is right up my humor ally.

Great for both WoT veterans and new readers. Fun and friendly people with good synergy and lots of stuff to enjoy. Personally set tbr on hold and binged every eposode 😊👌

this is a great first time reader podcast that includes, not only quality wheel of time content, but also delightful discussions of food and tangents that lead so far astray that the hosts have to metaphorically six-degrees-of-kevin-bacon themselves back on topic. I love it so much
