Astrazenca - why dont we just bin it?
Hi, love coronacast - thanks. The recent death with astrazenca has really shaken people’s confidence. Yes yes, we’ve all heard you go on about how amazingly rare this is - got that. But I think the damage this is doing to people’s confidence about vaccines is something that needs to be considered. Someone in that age group thinks, ‘right - Im expendable for the greater good’ - that’s really what comes to mind. If the Gov came out and said we’re binning even dose of astra because one life lost to a vaccine is one life too many - we won’t take those (very small) chances with the Australian public, I think people would have more trust in the process. We would feel like right, the gov draws a line for side effects - they won’t let the vaccine kill us. I think that would be fair and people would have more confidence. Thanks.
