“We’ve seen a huge wave in True Crime podcasts in the last 8-10 years, and although I used to love them, I started to feel icky about them.
So many make light of, and profit from the horrors that happen to people, especially women. Often they can be insensitive towards the victims families, and most don’t do their own research, instead reading off of Wikipedia articles.
Counterclock is NOT that. Delia does an amazing job as an investigative journalist. First of all, her respect and compassion for these families is so clear in everything she makes. She often is sought out by the families and gives them a voice. She also is really thoughtful of the details she shares so she stays respectful to the families.
Not only that, but her investigative journalism adds so much evidence to the case, bringing greater chance that these cold cases might get solved!
The stories are told well, compassionate to families, and artfully researched.
Truly 10/10, you can’t get any better True Crime than this!”
