On August 17, 2002, Justin Barber told police that he and his wife, April Barber, had been walking hand-in-hand along the beach when a man approached them with a gun. He was shot four times and survived, but April died from a single gunshot wound to the head.    After a nearly two year investigation, Justin was arrested and charged with April’s murder.
