“I was hoping her Reddit page was wrong about her, but after listening to this podcast I now understand why the page was created. This is the first season of this podcast series but very little effort has gone into making this a success- the topics discussed on the episodes aren’t “juicy” and nothing is being “peeled back” like advertised. I have followed Courtney for years now and the only thing this podcast has revealed, is the fact that her mother Liz was married and divorced before marrying Courtney’s father- literally nothing else said so far is new info to her OG Instagram followers. I was sad to see her bribe her followers with the chance to win $100 in exchange for leaving a positive review here, but I was even more disappointed after listening and then realizing that she never even followed through on announcing any ‘winners’ of the $100. In her most recent episode she just sits and answers questions submitted by her IG followers, but she has done this so many times on her stories that I don’t know why we needed an entire podcast episode of her repeating the same stuff over and over again to us… and furthermore she lied in some of her responses! Someone asked her if she was obsessed with lip filler and she said that she wasn’t, but then went on to say she just got some a few weeks ago but it was the first time in over a year since she had it done last. That is a boldfaced lie because over the summer (July 2023) she made a TikTok teaching us how to cover up bruises on your lip after she had just gotten more lip filler. She has also denied getting filler in her cheeks numerous times but in another TikTok from this past summer (again July 2023) she openly admits she had her cheeks done for the first time. I don’t understand why she would advertise this podcast to her followers as a “deep dive” into her life when she can’t even be honest with us at a surface level. As a long-time fan who has recently questioned some of her fashion choices as an influencer, I tried my best to give this podcast a fair shot- in fact her stories were the one thing I still followed her for! But after listening to the episodes that are available so far I am left feeling like the Courtney we see on IG is NOT the real deal after all- and that her stories are just that; stories. There’s no real truth or substance to what she says and I’m now convinced this entire production was created as a way for her to retaliate against what is being said about her on the Reddit page.”
