Important Human Listening
I’m re-listening to old episodes after recommending and sending some to a friend. I’ve thought it before and should’ve said it before now. Lots of people make podcasts, a whole lot of people make very good podcasts. But this one is not only good, it’s important. Patrick’s interviews really draw a through line between the things one is passionate about and the trials and hardships that come along with that love. In the case of this show it’s all musicians sharing their connectedness in struggles and successes...but it addresses it all at such a root human level that all kinds of people could see their own faces in these stories. This was off the air for a while and I’m really glad with the world the way it is right now, that it’s back. Even when the subject matter is tough it always gives me a great level of comfort.

Just introduced via Dopey. Immediately found The Patterson episode. This is a passionate message of recovery mixed with great content from a musicians perspective. Looking forward to catching up as well as future work.
