A must podcast for amateurs or pros alike…
Daniel has captured something very important here. There’s a gap in the world of photo podcasting that ranges from heavy talk about techie stuff to basic how-to info for the newbies. Here, Daniel brings us creative photographers from around the world to talk with him about a person’s unique personal vision that is the very essence of the photographic experience. Without personal vision, there is no “punctum” - Roland Bathes’ classic definition of what separates a snapshot from a photograph…personally touching detail which establishes a direct relationship with the object or person within photograph. Daniel gets it, and he has the ability to help photographers always strive for photographs to have punctum in order to have personal vision take hold as the foundation of the photographic art form. Bravo!
