Knowledgeable guests, relevant topics but overtalkative host
I was happy to have found this podcast for the topics. Many have been a good start on a subject or issue but they never dive very deep. They always have the best guests for their topics! As I’ve listened to a lot of the episodes it quickly became apparent that the host interrupts her guests train of thought to interject her own, even if it’s just her opinion and they lose the momentum they had, when I’m usually wanting to hear more on what the expert had to say. The interrupting happens often, which is unfortunate and disappointing. Many times I find myself wanting to say, “just listen and let them talk.” I’ve listened to experts from the podcast on other podcasts and gotten WAY more out of it. Overall a good starter podcast on some topics

I’m an SLP and have listened to the literacy series 2x now. I cannot wait to listen to the next two (therapy types/AAC). I love that Kim deep dives into relevant and fascinating topics…she finds the best of the best guests….I love that we learn alongside her.
