Ever wandered what the creative process is behind the films, tv shows and theatre productions you watch? Well, Crew Chats is a podcast going behind the scenes and chatting to the crew that help make these productions. Abi Leland always had an interest and passion for music, as a teenager she started her career in the world of film as a runner for a production company and later going onto work for a record label where she was able to learn about soundtracks and music in depth, which later led to her decision to become a freelance music supervisor. Over time, Abi decided to start her own music supervision company, ‘Leland Music’ and as well as film and tv, Abi branched into commercials and brands, working with the likes of Sony and Nike as well as for the anticipated yearly Christmas John Lewis ads since 2010. Abi has music supervised on productions such as, ‘The Last King of Scotland’, ‘Top Boy’, ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’, ‘Small Axe’ and the upcoming Benediction to name a few.
