Janty’s career in costume began with her grandmothers sewing machine at age 11 when she began making clothes which continued into adulthood. Janty’s career has spanned from working in the wholesale fashion world, designing commercials and television shows to designing feature films. Janty has had a long term collaborative relationship with director Ridley Scott which began with ‘Gladiator’ for which she won an Oscar and continues to today with the upcoming, ‘Napoleon’.
