Ever wandered what the creative process is behind the films, tv shows and theatre productions you watch? Well, Crew Chats is a podcast going behind the scenes and chatting to the crew that help make these productions. Carly Griffith, growing up had intended to become a fine artist, but after starting her foundation studies, Carly found that she much preferred costume, which combined her lifelong passion for history and her interest in fabrics and clothing. Carly studied Costume with Performance Design at the Arts University Bournemouth. Carly began her career as a trainee on a TV Soap and worked her way up to a standby and also worked as a costume supervisor for a number of years. Carly now works in the industry as an assistant costume designer. Carly has worked on productions such as, ‘The Bill’, ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’, multiple seasons of ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Poldark’, ‘Beecham House’, ‘Black Mirror’ and the recently released Steve McQueen project, ‘Small Axe’ to name a few.
