“Pros:
-so much information compacted into short episodes
-no pointless banter
-well research with facts I haven’t heard from other podcasts, changing my opinion on certain cases
-great story telling that’s incredibly engaging to the point where I’m not sure if every story is super interesting, or Ashley/Brit tell it so well it feels interesting
-a great mixture of unknown cases to me and some that I have
-they explain different theories and angles and give their informed two cents
-they have always seemed to be donating to great causes and walking the walk
-dog obsessed!! Whoop!
-they’re just wonderful.
Cons:
-the back and forth between the two during cases is bad acting, but it’s a very small price to pay for such a great podcast
I’ve been on the band wagon of many other true crime podcasts, but this one has such a good mixture of really intense cases explained in a very interesting way so you’re truly engaged. They explain the horrible stuff, but do it in a gentle way where you have the facts but aren’t broken to pieces over it. It’s not a joke podcast. It feels like I’m actually learning about the cases instead of wasting time with jokes or celebrity references. Ashley knows what she’s talking about! Really, truly worth a listen.”
