“I am a Med Tech during this crazy pandemic and have been pulling some seriously crazy hours, 15 days in a row 12 hour night shifts! Y’all’s podcast was the first one I have ever come across. Never really thought I could get into podcast and I found Crime Junkie. I drive about 70 miles back and to work from Louisiana to Arkansas and the drive is brutal after 12 hours of patient care and Covid Precautions. Crime Junkie has literally saved my life; I have recently found it hard to stay awake and have been falling asleep behind the wheel. It’s been 7 days since I started listening and not once have I had an issue staying awake and I now play Crime Junkie through the lab as I run around resulting labs! You ladies make setting up blood cultures and doing blood results so much more fun and spooky. I want the thank y’all for being so amazing! Y’all’s passion for your podcast brightens my day. We recently experienced a high rate of critical care patients in my hospital and with it being a small access hospital most of the patients are regulars and it takes a toll on me to watch them pass. Listening to y’all truly helps get through and remember that death is a part of life and all deaths have lessons!
