“Ashley Flowers wasn’t a known plagiarist. There are portions of this podcast in which she uses extensive, verbatim portions of others’ writing. Google it!
Don’t support this dishonesty.
Would be a much better podcast Ashley brushed up on English grammar and syntax and Britt stops it with the fake gasps and staged comments. She really drags the show down. The content is interesting! The delivery isn’t top-notch. The grammar is poor; grammar gaffes occur too frequently and are a distraction. (It’s not “HER and her boyfriend,” it is “SHE and her boyfriend,” for example. You wouldn’t say “Her went to the store” so don’t say “Her and her boyfriend went to the store.”) Most annoying: Brit’s fake gasps, scripted comments, and incessant use of the word “like” turn a good show into a mediocre one; occasionally she is genuinely ad-libbing and you can really tell the difference. It’s much better when her contributions are spontaneous. I challenge both of them to do one episode using the word “like” fewer than a dozen times. I enjoyed the first few episodes I listened to but the fake gasps, scripted comments, and poor grammar became too tedious to tolerate.”
