“I remember that day Ann Heron was murdered so well. I had passed by her house at least 3 times that day on my way to Darlington, I am from Middleton St George and the bus route went right by Ann and Peter’s house. I remember the police coming round to our house and speaking to us all about that day as they did everyone else in the village. Scary that this can happen in your own garden.”
