Fat-phobic victim blamers
I really wanted to like this podcast. I like the hosts’ rapport and their story telling format. However, I can’t ignore the fat-phobic comments (one of them straight up said she “doesn’t want her fitness instructors to be bigger” Like girl what?! That’s a comment that needs to stay inside your head, not announced on a podcast). This was the first episode I listened to, and like I said, I wanted to like it, so I listened to another episode to give it another chance. The second episode I listened to was the Gypsy Rose Blanchard episode. The host telling the story this week (I don’t know who is who yet), spun the entire story to make Gypsy look like the villain. I do feel like the other one sensed this was in bad taste and tried to soften the blaming, but the whole episode was in such poor taste. Gypsy experienced a lifetime of abuse, but the story was told from a perspective of accusing Gypsy of being in on the scam with her mom, like her partner in crime. Soo, I disagree with this and am just going to move on to the next pod.

My new bff’s! Seriously I want to call into every episode. Can you make that feature? Such an honest and truthful podcast that doesn’t act like they are better than the rest. Honest, biased, factual and funny. Don’t change!

These girls are too fun! Started listening this week and love. The stories are interesting and mostly new to me which is sometimes hard to find. They also are entertaining in the beginning. Just enough talk and story telling! More please!
