Interesting details, fantastic presentation!
I rarely give five star reviews, but this podcast has earned every single star. I love listening to true crime podcasts, but the presentation of this one is particularly unique as the hosts devote an entire series to each case, giving a unique perspective by covering details that would otherwise be omitted due to the time constraints of trying to cover such extensive cases in 1-2 episodes. The hosts can be repetitive at times which was mildly bothersome in the beginning, but in the beginning I was binge listening, and now that I'm caught up I find the repetitive nature to be extremely helpful in placing you back where they left off at the last episode, especially with the level of detail they are covering in the case. I have one minor complaint about the ads in recent episodes; as you're listening they will be talking about the case and in the next sentence they are in an ad. The clever placement is the only thing that keeps this from being entirely jarring, but a pause or a lead in (i.e. "I'd like to take a moment to talk about our sponsor) like they did in earlier episodes would be helpful, or even a jingle. But the ads are relevant for the most part and some are even interesting (the True Crime magazine, for example) so I really don't mind it so much. This is currently my favorite podcast out of 10-12 other podcasts that I'm listening to. The hosts are very clear about what they are presenting. I can't say enough that their presentation of these cases and details is effectively flawless. The hosts have a good back and forth between each other and it helps to keep the podcast interesting. I look forward to see the quality of this podcast continue to rise as the hosts discover what works and what doesn't. Thank you, Mike and Morf, for a great podcast.

It's clear that a lot of heart went into this, and I really enjoy it. I would love it even more if Mike would quit referring to Morf by name every few sentences like he's on ESPN, it's sort of stilted and offputting. If that's the biggest complaint I have, then it must be a great...Read full review »
