Great but why afraid to note Palestine?
I love this show and so appreciate the quality of discourse, rapport, and curiosity. It has been hugely disappointing to hear a critics at a publication of record actively avoid mentioning the current Palestinian genocide when so much attn is made to querying cultural connects and themes in the “real world.” Not alluding to global qs about when and how violence rebellion occurs and is socially sanctioned (or not) during the sci fi Dune episode, for instance, felt like a glaring gap in responsibility. If this podcast never (to me observance at least) mentions the US funded genocide of Palestinians it’s going to be an incredibly bad and ignorant record of these bright thinkers and their responsibility.

Intelligent, casual conversation about culture that makes you feel like you’re sitting at the desk, too.

I really enjoy this show. I was really stoned listening to the ‘Can slowness save us?’ Episode and it felt very relatable. You guys are the best!
