Phillip Jackson began his career in Repertory Theatre before moving into West End shows, television and film. Phillip is best known for playing Chief Inspector Japp in Agatha Christie’s Poirot alongside David Suchet between 1989-2013. His many television appearances have included Robin of Sherwood, A Touch of Frost, Foyle's War, Little Britain, Raised by Wolves and Last of the Summer Wine. He has also appeared in films, including the 1979 Scum and Paul McCartney's Give My Regards to Broad Street, Brassed Off, The Fourth Protocol, My Week with Marilyn, Little Voice and Mike Leigh’s Peterloo. In these episode we discuss the many projects Phillip has worked on, breaking into the business, how the industry has changed and meeting with the young George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg.
