“This would be a great WoW podcast, if only someone would edit it. They talk about really interesting things for all levels of player; they just don't do it in a helpful or useful way. Friendly banter is one thing, but when the hosts spend minutes just laughing at each other it becomes tedious; and when they're laughing at Aprillian saying "I'll edit that out" it's quite contemptuous of the listeners. In fact I often get the feeling the hosts forget they have an audience: interrupting each other, fact checking while recording, and hissing into the microphone (FFS do you know what that sounds like in headphones?). I imagine there is some good stuff in there somewhere, it's just really difficult to hear it amongst the bragging and the teasing. For example: the subject of whether multiboxing violates the end-user license comes up about every two or three episodes. I still haven't heard if it does or not because the hosts collapse into fits of giggles as if they're doing something naughty (which they're not).”
