“Found this through Liv Albert’s ‘Let’s talk about myths baby.’
Fantastic concept and set up.
The musical aspect is strange - no musical numbers in first episode and then they suddenly appear very sporadically and often feel forced.
Enjoyed story initially and liked some of the modernisation
SPOILERS AHEAD
It’s a real shame that the 5th and 6th episodes just go manic with the ‘shock twists’.
It gets OTT. Every mortal character is secretly an incognito god?? Really???
What a way to remove the ‘Cupid learning about the complexity of mortals’ arc.
Also Hades being a ‘villain’ is done to death in pop culture. Its not modernising the myths it’s butchering them.
As I said - initially very good and I enjoy the voice acting/story portrayal. Losing interest now though.”
