Episode 49: The FormulaNerds 2021 British GP Review
Listen now
Description
On today's episode, our panel of Oli, Matt, Emma, and Michael discuss the 2021 British Grand Prix.  A very tightly contested championship battle just got a lot closer and a lot spicier on track and on the podcast.  The gang starts out by giving their verdicts on the Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton incident at Copse corner in lap 1.  From who was at fault, to the "controversial?" penalty, the fallout for the rest of the reason and even the statements and actions of Toto Wolff and Christian Horner are discussed.  The team then discusses the merits, downfalls, and possible alternative structures for the much-discussed and debated Sprint Qualifying format.  While discussing the events of the actual race, things get a little silly when discussing the surprise podiums and the effects for the standings and the rest of the year.  The team finally as always give their race reviews and driver of the day.
