Hebrews 4:12 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 For the word (spoken word) of God is quick (living), and powerful (strength and effectual in operation), and sharper (more cutting) than (above) any twoedged sword, piercing even (passing through) to the dividing asunder (the act of dividing) of soul and spirit (differentiating between that which is begotten of the flesh and that which is begotten of the spirit), and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner (skilled in judging) of the thoughts (secret motives and emotional revolving of the mind) and intents (what is in the mind, idea) of the heart (the seat of one's distinctive character).
