This is a fascinating podcast weaving the current crises of climate, ocean acidification, and the fear of stranded assets among oil companies, together with one woman’s journey through corporate law, including some years working for one of the oil majors, on to her role in crafting the Environmental Protection Act for her home country of Guyana in 1995, finally and more recently her efforts to uphold that act in legal cases against unbridled and even corrupt development of oil and gas projects in Guyana.
