The best of the “bad” good movie podcasts!
Recently I found this podcast in my peruse of the r/badmovies subreddit. I haven’t stopped listening since. Not since the excellent Science Fiction Film podcast show, have I found such excellent coverage of a beloved topic for all film fans. If you’re truly a fan of movies and film, then you also LOVE a bad good movie. The format is simple. Dan and Corky take fab submissions of movies they dare them to watch. Our heroes then review and rate the movie a “dare” for ‘I dare you to watch this’, a “double dare” for those especially awful films, and the “reverse dare” for those movies which were surprisingly good or better than expected. It’s a simple format that works very well. They drop a lot of funny movie reference lines as quips throughout, they have great chemistry together and I find you’ll be laughing along with them. I also crack up when (I believe it’s him anyway) their producer? Maybe? Is laughing way in the background. These guys make these movies a lot of fun just even hearing about them when you haven’t seen them. Some notable episodes “the box” “silent night deadly night 2” “assassins” “ultraviolet” and many more. Do yourself a favour and don’t miss this podcast. PS: don’t forget to send in your dares to the boys at their website. I donated to them and gave my dare, I felt I had to contribute to something that’s given me a lot of laughs during this quarantine. Corky and or Dan will her back to you! Thanks for the reply guys!! Keep up the good work! And make sure you get to my Dare for “Deadfall” what a fiasco that was! All the best! Stay safe! Jordan F

These guys are funny, genuine and I love how they can find some god even in the worst of the movies.

Just started listening to this podcast and will definitely be adding it to my regular shows. There’s a great rapport between Daniel and Corky as they discuss some of the most famously terrible films with some surprising results. Also, it’s a nice mix of in depth movie analysis and more relaxed...Read full review »
